Gingerbread house
We needed instructions off the Internet, one family crisis and most of that case of beer to get through the building of this (Ikea) gingerbread house... Quite a bit of assembly required! One of us enjoyed himself though.
The madness continues
Finlay is going to grow up to design cars, conceive of innovative urban planning solutions, or become a parking attendant...
This was where the madness started
Dean and the first load of new cars... Finlay's favourite car was a VW Passat (which James probably remembers well). That was far too bourgeois for Dean's taste - a whole load of Ferraris, Porsches and Mercedes had to be acquired, along with various trucks, streetcars and construction equipment (to build the new high-speed overpass for the race cars...).
Special expertise
Here is one of Europe's top visual designers creating a new parking landscape for Finlay's cars on the coffee table and also contemplating Frederick the Mouse.
The rise of the cars...
This is before Dean and Grandma Cathy arrived. Especially Dean. And before the cars multiplied. And then took over the apartment.
More Finlay (hello Dennis!)
More Finlay... Here in September with his great grandmother Anneliese (now according to Finlay "Annekrise") at his aunt Susanne's wedding.

Blaupause
OK. You asked. You'll get (Stefanie Uhl...). More photos of Finlay coming this weekend. Plus some links to blogs on Studentenverbindungen. It's been an exciting few months. Finlay is busy watching soccer, arguing with "Chrissel" that "those carrots are unfortunately desgnated for someone else" and waving chopsticks. Apologies to his audience and followers.

Visit from Jupp
Finlay and toys
Finlayfood!
Finlay and Oma Annaliese
Finlay and a workbench!
A visit from Annette!
And Leander (here) and Dieter and Lara, just before Christmas. I think they are puzzling (one of Finlay's gavourite activities). The socks here were a kind gift from Annette as well - each one contained a small toy or chocolate for Finlay in the days leading up to Christmas. Thank you Annette! The socks are coming in handy during the cold winter months.
